Well, I am Robert Bubnis. When I am not playing music, I am working in my home business as a Graphic Designer. I have designed book covers, and CDs, posters, advertisements and such. I write most of the stuff that we do, and have been writing my whole life.

I like this whole direct to the people-mp3 thing because although I do have a distinct style, I don't like to be trapped by genre's. I can write blistering heavy metal, passionate rock songs, and tender soft ballads, so you never know what you'll get when you download one of my songs, but you do know that I gave my best.

I play an Ovation Custom Balladeer, an Epiphone FT-146, and a Gibson Les Paul thru a Line 6 amplifier.

John is a killer bass guitarist and a good friend. He writes his own bass lines to my music, and always seems find a way to enhance and color whatever my guitars are doing.

Although he has mentioned what he does for a living, I don't remember the specifics. I know works with computers, and he manages really important projects for his company, but that's about it.

To unwind, John like to design 3 dimensional first person perspective video games.

Johns rig is a Washburn headless Series I bass, through a Korg processor, and a Crate head through a Fender amp that he has converted into a speaker cabinet.

When Ron isn't playing drums, he has a job that is a bit different. He designs and fits people with artificial limbs. He is a great guy that takes great pride in his work, and really seems to enjoy helping people in tragic circumstances. It is a priviledge knowing him.

Ron likes to ride his motorcycle and four wheeling when he's not behind his kit. I'll ask him if he has any other hobbies because, as far as I know, the only other thing I hear him say he likes to do is play drums

Rons rig is a Ludwig 5 piece kit, surrounded with Zildjian cybals.

After pretty much giving up on ever doing anything with my music again, I started playing in our Church band. Over time, because I am basically one of those kinds of guys that doesn't mind taking charge of things, I wound up becoming the worship leader. It's not your momma's church band either. We cut loose with electric guitars, acoustic guitars, steel, keys, horns... you name it!

It was there that I began playing first with Ron and then with John. I had given up on writing music up until then, but with all of these great musicians around all the time, I began to get fired up. Then, with the advent of MP3, and the possibility of actually having people all over the world listen to us, I got my pen out and began to create music again.

The name "Once Lost" came from a lyric in "Amazing Grace".

"I once was lost, but now I am found."

Cool huh?

That's about it for now. We'll get some pictures up eventually and maybe if we get enough people out there that like us, we'll have a webcast or something. In the meantime. Thanks. We really appreciate you.
